Variety Splash - Route

The Route 

Thursday 28th February, 2008

The Variety Splash starts bright and early on Thursday 28 February in Melbourne’s newest precinct, Melbourne’s Docklands, Waterfront City. This location provides excellent berthing and on land facilities for the Variety Splash fleet and will be where the festivities commence.

Splasher’s will be given the opportunity to orientate themselves with their vessel, crew and team including a briefing on logistics and operations followed by a delicious sausage sizzle breakfast.

Splasher’s will then make their way back to their vessels for the start of Variety Splash 2008.

The first leg of the trip takes you from Waterfront City to Mornington Yacht Club with many forms of entertainment and stopovers throughout the day.

That evening all will enjoy a "Twilight" welcome function in true Variety form.

Friday 29th February, 2008

Day Two will again be action packed. After breakfast, Splasher’s will head off to enjoy another day on the bay with new found friends, heading across to Royal Geelong Yacht Club where Friday evening will unveil another spectacular function and night to remember.

Saturday 1st March, 2008

After breakfast, Splasher’s will head back to Waterfront City Docklands in time to attend the final function and awards presentation, including a prize for the most money raised, awards for those who entered into the spirit of the event plus many many more.

Leaving plenty of time to pack the boats, farewell new friends and head home.
