| Description: | Team Laafin will do it again this year, with their fourth sailing trip from Newhaven (Phillip Island) to Docklands, with a hope that the weather will be kind enough to get them there. This will be their 4th Variety Splash, with an impressive donation to Variety, of over $28,000 in the first three years. For the 2011 event, with some new crew members, Team Laafin will try hard to exceed their team record of $10,300 from 2009. Last year the team so close, yet so far from that record, missing it by only $120. This will give them even more incentive to reach their target this year! Their loyal sponsors are still with them, and they are working hard to bring more sponsors on board, both locally from Phillip Island and also from Melbourne.
